They are. But I think it’s strategic. The footage clearly showed black people committing all of these crimes. Anyone paying attention will notice. What’s the point of the ad? Is it to preach to the choir (you, for example) or to convince new people (your unaware neighbor) that this is going on? People like you weren’t the audience of this commercial. The people who need to be convinced are completely asleep that this is going on. They might actually be offended if they thought this commercial was just a racial attack. Which is gross, but why would you make this ad and only intend it for the people who already agree with it? They would be wasting their time. They soften the blow at the end for the sake of the intended audience. Ads are meant to convince people. I mean that’s literally the point of the existence of any advertisement, is to convince someone of something. You don’t need to be convinced. People here don’t need to be convinced. The people who do need to be convinced are the actual audience of this commercial. For them, jumping straight to I HATE BLACKS!!!!! wouldn’t work. This is something the left understands very well and the right hasn’t figured out yet. You have to know how to sell your vision, how to sell your point, how to sell your position. It’s crass, but it’s effective. You have to learn how to sell. Or, the right can just continue to keep losing.
