“We’ve characterized it at times as an overdue-library-book scenario where there’s a dispute — not even a dispute — but ongoing negotiations with [the National Archives] that has suddenly been transformed into a criminal investigation,” Trump lawyer James Trusty said.

Trump’s attorneys also argued Judge Cannon was in a “unique position” to “help restore public confidence” in the DOJ.

Still being ignored is the fact President Trump had the sole authority to declassify at that time. Where are if any challenges to this declassification ? And if a challenge was made the when needs to be addressed.

Also notice the released inventory. There are no TS/SCI documents. So the famous picture was not only staged, but it was staged with TS/SCI cover sheets they brought with them. I was suspicious when I saw that they were just paper clipped on to the supposed documents. And most of the inventory was memorabilia. Pictures, magazines and press clippings. And articles of clothing. Classified clothing???? Melania's underwear???

I think Cohen is trying to bait them into another raid. Dear FBI, the documents you are looking for are in a separate building at Mar-a-Lago.
