Of course the prime reason was to find out what information he possessed on the Deep State. They made up an crimeless excuse to get a warrant to do a general search of all his papers when he was in New Jersey. I simply can't believe their audacity to rummage through everything for nine hours, scoped up 10 or so boxes of papers and supposedly later looked through all of them. Without saying anythig about the justification for the warrant, the wholesale scoping up of all Trumps personal documents and looking through all of them has to be criminal. They did this to find out what Trump had on them (FBI/DOJ) that was the only reason for the raid. They knew the window to do this was small and closing fast as November neared. They knew Trump was not home. In short they had to do it now or never to get their grubby hands on his papers to find out what he had on them that was in his possession.
