The FBI on Thursday released video of the shooting. You can watch it here.

While the video was released the audio never was. Had the video with audio been released we would have known if the shot was fired after or before reaching. Not releasing the audio leaves this still a question needing to be answered.

patriot, I remember he was heading straight for the Sheriffs Dept to relay information when they pulled to road block on him. I had wondered why they did not jut arrest him at the Sheriffs Dept ?

It was no road block, it was a classic L ambush with murder intended.
