“Gavin was AGAINST going to Jan 6. He was AGAINST Charlottesville (and told Proud Boys they were out of the crib if they went) but he’s rotting away in jail because he dared to question authority.”
Don't lose the main point, which is that even if McInnes advocated entering the Capitol in a mass demonstration (he did not), he shouldn't be arrested for it, because it's not a crime to speak your mind concerning your political views. Public demonstrations are a part of American life. Such demonstrations almost always violate various minor civic ordinances, such as tresspassing. That's the norm.
The corporate slave media has made walking through the doors of the Capitol Building, after security opened them for demonstrators, some kind of horrible crime, whereas burning doen police stations and car dealerships in the middle of the night is given a complete pass when Antifa or BLM do it. The lop-sidedness of it is absurd, but it is real and it is happening, thanks to the crazy people in control of government and the media. McInnes wasn't even there. At least Alex Jones was somewhere in DC at the time.
What do you mean? The United States of Isreal does not have a 1st amendment right to criticize anything the government does.
Sure, but just to play devils advocate for a second. Just because some minor inconvenience is the norm doesn't mean that Courts are duty bound to not charge or convict anyone found to be 'breaking' said laws i agree this entire jan 6 is bs but technically and lawfully the premises were closed due to covid and were 'restricted areas/ closed to the general public' meaning only authorised individuals were allowed to be there that day. Imo, It's like arguing against a speeding ticket because everyone else also speeds on a particular section of highway.
Except if he didn't go, how was he charged with trespassing somewhere you physically weren't?
They'll charge him with planning it and/or incitement.
Come on man. 'It was real in somebodies mind'. Maybe he thought about going ??? ...
