People wake up every day to an unmitigated torrent of TV injected death, war, destruction rape and debauchery. What makes publicising the truth about aliens or anything else any more disturbing than the average 24 hour news cycle? What can I say? Can you tell the difference between a cat and a tiger, at least? If a tiger suddenly pops right in front of you in the woods, I don't think your reaction will be just about the same as if you were facing a mere cat... If you don't get that then you get nothing
And what truth about aliens? Who said those space aliens aren't in the end a giant .gov/globohomo psyop? And if it's indeed a fake alien invasion, some sort of global cabal against the masses, what are people going to do? Pretend it's not happening? Freak the fuck out? How can they tell the difference between a real and a fake alien presence, and what if you have both at the same time?

Here's the reality: most people have a family with kids and a career and hopes, and you tell them there's no hope, everything is going to turn to absolute shit, their career, their kids, their retirement, their way of life, their liberties, their lifstyle, everything is going to land in the shitter because X. You know what's their usual reaction?
Denial.
And sometimes they even turn agressive. And you know why? Because by telling the truth, you take all their hopes away from them, all their dreams, and you're telling them all the suffering, all the risks, all what they've invested in their dream, they did all that for nothing, it's not going to happen, and they're going to lose everything essentially.
When the truth, has to be false... Because the alternative is not conceivable, is terrifying...

Nah. I think you're over-sensationalizing things. People would deal with it. Just because you find it hard to believe doesn't mean others will outright reject it. It's weird shit for sure, but no weirder or sicker than anything we've been told about or come to know.
I don't know how you came to class the things you do as "extreme" or "difficult to handle," hard life?
