>>What would God do? He'd have us strive to vanquish this evil. Actually, no. Jesus, the firstborn of all creation is the designated king of God's Kingdom. During his lifetime, the israelites were under oppression by the Romans, and Jesus prophesied that the Romans would destroy Jerusalem. His followers mistakenly believed Jesus would become an earthly king and lead the nation to liberation from the Romans. When he was questioned about this at his trial, he said no, my kingdom is not of this source. If it was, my attendants would have fought for me. His Kingdom will be from heaven, with great power and glory. “Immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun will be darkened,f and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of man will appear in heaven, and all the tribes of the earth will beat themselves in grief, and they will see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he will send out his angels with a great trumpet sound, and they will gather his chosen ones together from the four winds, from one extremity of the heavens to their other extremity." -Matthew 24: 29-31. Please read all of Matthew chapter 24 if you haven't lately. Jesus describes the times we are living in, and how it will end. The main point I want to make here is that Jesus didn't give any hope of rising up and fixing things ourselves. Look at the history of mankind. One revolution after another. One nation being conquered after another. Nothing changes. Evil runs this planet, and it will continue until God replaces satan's rule with his own, with Jesus as king. Stop trying to prop up a failing system, and learn about God's Kingdom, coming soon.
