It's not the same thing, you just don't get the difference
That's like equating the accidental death of iraqi families resulting from US bombings (collateral damages), to the targeted assassination of henry kissinger by some foreign intel agency for instance, resulting in the death of his son...
There's a massive difference
Now if you don't understand why there's a difference, and why the implications and consequences aren't going to be just the same at all, then there's nothing I can do for you
War is war. If we go to war with say china I'm under the impression everyone from China I can lay hands on is my enemy and dealt with as if I'm on a battlefield. I'm not interested in the morality of it all, just that my enemy isn't breathing anymore.
Everyone else is playing by those rules already and we keep losing because we want to be the good guys. The only wars we have ever won have been from being as unmerciful as possible. Nuking and bombing the shit out of civilians. Fight to completely eliminate everything or stay home.
>War is war blablabla
No no no, this isn't an abstraction, this isn't some random pawn game
You don't understand
Those behind this will get their families butchered, wherever they are, and it's not going to be an accident
This below, is what the russians do

>L.A. TIMES ARCHIVES JAN. 7, 1986 12 AM PT JERUSALEM — The KGB has adopted novel, brutal and apparently effective methods of dealing with terrorists who attack Soviet interests in the Middle East, an Israeli newspaper reported Monday. The Jerusalem Post said the Soviet secret police last year secured the release of three kidnaped Soviet diplomats in Beirut by castrating a relative of a radical Lebanese Shia Muslim leader, sending him the severed organs and then shooting the relative in the head.
You get it now?
Everyone can do that. I don't see the point in fighting wars if we aren't doing exactly what you linked. Shit, cartels are doing this shit inside our country already.
