If the message were only asking Garland "what can I do to reduce the heat?" that would sound like Trump was on the grabbed-by-the-balls end of this. But somehow the whole sentence "The country is on fire. What can I do to reduce the heat?” sounds more like Trump's telling them they're screwed and do they want to beg Trump for help out of the mess now?
