I came down with something Saturday the 30th and just suffered through it until the following Monday when my wife and I went to the local ER because the vertigo just got to be too much. I told them I was having fever, vertigo, waves of tiredness, and just feel like shit in general. We also told them that everyone in the house had it and was better in about four days. The triage nurse said we're going to do a covid swab and I said nope don't want it. She didn't put up too much of a fight, took my blood pressure and temp as well as an O₂ check then scuttled off. About 10 minutes later the doctor came in and one again pronounced that he *will* do a covid swab and again he was informed that he would not. The little bitch immediately gets puffy "Well, I can't treat you if I don't know what is wrong. I'm not going to do anything with out knowing the cause." My wife asks him "So, you are refusing to treat him if he doesn't have a covid test? He's dizzy and throwing up, that's what we came in for, not some covid bullshit. Treat that." Upon hearing a front-hole peasant mock his god he gets extra puffy "We have to test! What is it with you people and covid‽' At this point I said fuck it and just got up and left while the wifey gave him an ear full. I was too tired and felt too shitty to argue with fucktards. As I'm walking out I can hear my wife ask "What is it with you fucking morons bowing to the altar of the covid religion?" So we just went back home because I just wanted to lay down. My daughter got me some OTC cold and flu pills and Gatorade. I take the night dose of generic NyQuil drink some Gatorade and go to bed. When I wake up the next day, Tuesday, I still feel like shit but not as bad. I take more of the OTC meds and barely power through. Today I feel about 95%. I guess generic OTC cold and flu tabs was the cure for covid all along.
