Put your sheriff's telephone number in your phone. When the gestapo arrive tell them you need to call your sheriff to see if he has given them permission to pook around in his county and question his citizens. Then record what the gestapo do next. The Feds can't conduct any law enforcement activity in a county without getting the permission of the sheriff. The sheriff is the top dog (LEO) in his jurisdiction (county).

My sherif has been ORDERED not to enforce any federal laws .. ( when i reported my right to vote under threat of imprisonment in 2020) even tho it goes against title 18 us code.
Oregon has a law stating Local LEA cannot enforce or assist the feds ( unless the AG allows them to)
Remember the 2020 siege of the Portland Federal Courthouse? What did our State Government say? the Feds are Gestapos.

If the feds are overstepping their rights, it would not affect your ability to get the Sheriff involved. Even if you did have a corrupt Sheriff, the law prohibits cooperating with the feds, even if they are following federal laws.
They violated federal law when under threat of imprisonment they stole my right to vote.. BECUSE they violated a FEDRAL law the Sheriff is unable to enforce it .. ie protecting them...
I hope this clears it up a bit.. but you are correct CALL the sheriff on their asses .. MOST places have great sheriffs
