I almost can't believe that it's not staged.. of course the guy could be zombified by drugs or medication, but seriously not looking like a person who thought that through before going on stage..
That was no more of an assassination attempt than the rowdy behavior on 1/6/2021 was an insurrection. I'm more curious about why a current congressman like Zeldin doesn't have even basic security personnel around. No random guy should be able to casually waddle up on stage like that. Imagine if the dude had a knife or hatchet instead of some weird brass knuckle thing and actually wanted to do damage.
