This is the most retarded reporting I've ever seen. Since when is a volunteer position a "blue collar job?" It isn't a job. Volunteers don't get paid. And the volunteer firemen that I know are all professionals (lawyers, real estate people, etc), and not blue collar workers, although I'm sure there are some blue collars there as well. The people in the media, for the most part, have little to no real world experience. That's why everything they write is wrong.
