Guy is pissed off because people are too cowardly to stand up and protest the destruction of their freedoms. I don't think it's so much cowardice for many people, but more a sense of prudence. They don't want to risk losing their jobs, being fined by the police, and getting attacked by their crazy neighbors if it isn't going to accomplish anything. If they knew taking a stand would actually do something, more would take a stand.
