just unloading cash into physical properties since cash is headed towards worthless.
Makes sense, but nothing will convince me this doesn't involve something more nefarious :-)

The article mentioned Fresh grocery stores that Amazon was investing in. At the end of the article it mentioned Gates and all the land he purchased.
With the recent cattle deaths and food factories burning, I wouldn't be surprised if Amazon is investing in land for some artificial food adventure or purchasing warehouses to grow bugs for the new 'sustainable' diet.

Quite possible.
Unfortunately, with these maniacal lunatics, it's very possible.
Amazon owns Whole Foods & their sales shot up during the pandemic - home delivered groceries has become somewhat normal and yes you can have Whole Foods delivered to your door now. Probably paying more online than going to the actual store. Anyway, they're gonna need farmland to stock their stores.
Good point. We are making a huge mistake allowing known traitors to buy farmland. Also, anyone buying from Amazon is guilty of undermining their country.
What ever happened to those closed Walmarts that got fenced in, and looking like prisons to keep something in.
Smart people with insane amounts of cash (amazon, Bill Gates, etc.) are looking for ways to protect themselves from the hyper inflation. The value of cash disappears, but real estate is forever.
The property Amazon is buying can be used for giant retail centers. They have already experimented with brick and mortar retail.
Yes - They probably want it for regional distribution centers where our purchasing power will be determined by our social credit scores.
