How much of this is real and how much is it a psy op for some other undiscovered purpose?
Well, I don't know - but you can let your fingers do the walking...
Based on early numbers - Geographical weather patterns are uneven, producing good yields in some localized areas and nothing (straw) in others. Bushels per acre (BPA) are trending down (overall production down 8%). Harvest acreage is down 500K acres.
As of March 13, just 23% of Kansas' wheat crop was in good condition or better, 15 points below a year ago, while 38% of was rated poor to very poor, up 16 points over the same period, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture. So, at least 1/3 of the Kansas wheat crop is lost, while productively (BPA) may be at best flat to slightly down for the other 2/3.
No matter how you count this on your fingers and toes, it ain't good for the price of bread and pasta.
Thanks for that.
At least they are killing off beef and chicken, and forcing us to eat bread and wheat. These people are fucking evil, and as a peon, nothing I can do.
Learn to store wheat safely. Get a ready as you can on your budget. That is at least a little control.
