Historically, what the MAGA voters believe is what the majority believed over the centuries. That it's wrong to murder babies in the womb, for example. That's not an extreme position, that is the norm over the past four thousand years around the world. You don't murder your babies, because a culture that does that is insane, and is doomed to perish.
