You are correct in all you say but we are supposed to be American, free and independent from Europe. One look at DC and the buildings and one would conclude we are owned and controlled by today's Holy Roman Empire aka: The Vatican. When one looks at the way Nero, Domitian and all the other Caesars persecuted the Christians and compare it to the Vatican's Inquisition persecution of Christians it's identical in it's evil. I've been down that rabbit hole and it's very disturbing especially given the reverence one has when he is brought up Catholic. Martin Luther said when he took his pilgrimage to Rome that what he envisioned it to be (very Holy and Righteous) was actually a Den of Iniquity (Fornication is how the bible puts it). I believe that is how they are able to keep the charade going. Most don't know anything but their local church. They pay no attention to what the head of their "church" is saying or doing.
