I didn't do that. My mom said it was hot. It felt hot after cooling off from several minutes. So it must have been very hot when the pan came out of the oven. I reasoned, as a small child, that it would hurt me. The seat belt buckles are very hot in the summer. And it hurt when I touched it. It came together.
But that's nitpicking your specific example. I understand your point. You mean to say that if the Auth-Lefties term a bunch of folks that do not fit into their political ideologies, and they have been warned that this will create dissidents/insurrectionists, I agree. That will happen. It is happening. And the Establishment is scared out of their mind. Hence their coming down, hard, on the Jan 6 folks. Which is a stupid decision. The did not learn their lessons in Iraq or Afghanistan - doing this stuff just radicalizes people.
And if they're doing it it's for a reason, it's because they believe if they don't... It's going to be a problem. Just like not subtle at all mass censorship, it's only an indication that not everything is exactly going according to plans.... Hence the need to shut dissenting voices...
And maybe the next president or key representatives in the future, will be people who got fired and decided to run for office to settle score

DeSantis is a very strong candidate for 2024. He does not have some of the issues that Trump had but has Trumpian approaches to the bullshit media. I have never voted for a Republican in my life, at the national level. For the US's sake, I hope that DeSantis runs and gets elected.
