I was thinking the same thing. Most of these numbers are inflated which severely hurts the points he's trying to make. No one is paying a dollar a round for 556. 200 for a plate carrier no plates...wtf? Throw in the look at me making a video in my uniform and the whole thing looks dumb.

Ok, I've never heard of ammoseek but checked it out and look what you get for that price. All Russian. Tula, Wolf, Red Army, ect, steel case dirty ass shit with lacquer coating that won't run worth a shit in a hot barrel (my opinion,mostly). Plus, that doesn't include shipping and tax! Plus, they don't (can't) ship to some area's

Having said that. Ya,I do agree. He is over-priced on at least ammo. Our local farm story goes through ammo like it's eggs and milk. 1000 rds of M855 green tip 5.56 is (would be) 740.00 out the door. That's 74 cents a rd.

And the whole magazine deal, I don't understand. If he had 1600 rounds in magazines, That's at least 53 magazines. The weight of those alone would be about 50 pounds (he ran across a field with all this gear?) . 10 bucks is probably a good price, you can get them cheaper, you can get them for more but we are also getting bulk. 5-600 bucks tops here.

None of this makes any difference though We are still WAY over what he should have seemingly been able to afford. And he clearly had advice on what to buy and what to steer clear of, like the ammo issue for instance. And Daniel Defense is top-shelf stuff, he didn't make these decisions based on google searches.

Sad thing is, we'll probably never know.
