As promiscuity went from being a deviant behavior to a normal one homosexuality quickly followed along. Each progression in the acceptance of sexual deviance permitted the more obscure practices to become more common. The Obergefelle decision just took homomarriage away as an issue of discussion so the conversation naturally moved to the next issues in the queue.
