The term fortnight is too antiquated for me. I'm dubbing the unit of measure for a two-week period of waiting for justice to be served a "Distraction Cycle Interval". You can also call it by it's more humorous name "never-ending blue balls".

What a joke. It is proven now that these people are truly above the law. I followed a lot of this trial, the evidence was very convincing, the admissions were quite telling. The guy is guilty as fuck and yet he's found not guilty. Above the law whether we like it or not. There will most likely not even be any other trials and if there are they will be found not guilty as well.

You do know where the trial was, and the obvious bias of the jury right? This trial was about getting certain shit on the record for bigger fish.

I know, but I am so jaded. I am so sick of hearing how ITS HAPPENING !!! It's coming!!! SOON!!! and nothing happens, nothing at all. I thought that this would bring some measure of solace but it's a complete let down. A failure of the judicial system. If getting any of this on record was actually important it would have found this fuck head guilty. But it didn't. It won't be admissible in the next trial, if there is one. So it was pointless. In fact getting it "on the record" will most certainly have the exact opposite effect. Any future litigation will be barred the evidence and testimony of the trial where the guilty as fuck guy was found not guilty. Future trials will be a mockery of the judicial system just as this one was.
