I think it’s a play on words. “Discourse” is communication/conversation.
Discord is open source and apparently not beholden to corporate control. Therefore, causing “discord” with the status quo.

Weird how this community is so split between “crisis actors” and the simplicity of the government simply manipulating someone to do what it wants.
