Remember, the damning text message from Sussmann to Baker occurred on 9/18/16, saying he was coming to the FBI NOT on the behalf of a client. Defense is trying to trip the verdict by making the jury rule that the lie occurred during the FBI meeting (it was the premise for the meeting on 9/19/16 however).
Should be interesting to see if this matters to the jury........esp since they heard Sussmann's admission to Congress in 2018 that he went to the FBI on behalf of a client
UPDATE: Looks like the Jury will be instructed to ignore the 9/18/16 text message. Holy crap!
