This is the best interview I've ever seen of Prez Putin. It's translated in English via voice-over, so you DON'T have to miss watching Putin's facial expressions in order to read subtitles. This interview is from June 2021 and it's 1.5 hours long, hosted by some Brit wanker guy named Keir Simmons at NBC (Fake) News. Even though this interview pre-dates the Ukraine kinetic conflict with Russia, there are lots of big reveals about who this man is, how he thinks, and what motivates him.

Whether you like or dislike Putin, or if you're undecided or neutral about him, after watching this interview, I think anyone objectively watching this interview would recognize that Putin is ridiculously smart, quick, has a great sense of humor, and he's seemingly impossible to rattle - no matter how many ludicrous accusations are thrown in his face.

Putin also obviously realizes how corrupt and agenda-driven the American "news" media is and he calls out the "fake news" (yes, he even uses Trump's catch phrase) during the interview, just like Trump does.

VIEWER WARNING: This NBC "journalist" is a total smarmy scumbag who's incredibly disrespectful to Putin, interrupts Putin constantly, and he's totally on the offensive with Putin the entire time trying to upset/rattle him and catch him off guard. This 'journo' guy is the NBC equivalent of CNN's Jim Acosta, basically.

Simmons is clearly desperate to land a zinger 'gotcha question' and the one time he was remotely successful (although it was a minor point), Putin just laughs it off, mocking Simmons with a funny remark like, "Oh, woo-woo, you scored your gotcha question!" Exactly like what our REAL POTUS Trump would do - LOL!

Other great moments & key points/take-aways:

• Putin said he wasn't warned about the sudden abandonment of U.S. troops in Afghanistan and he was clearly not happy about that.

• When asked about Putin's relationship with Pres. Biden (as of June 2021), he said (paraphrasing): "Russia relations with the U.S. have rapidly deteriorated to almost their lowest point" since Biden took office.

• When asked about the story of when VP Biden was at one of the G summits 10 or so years ago, he (supposedly) got right up in Putin's face, looked him in the eyes and told Putin, "You have no soul." Putin responded with something like, "I don't know what you're talking about. I have no memory of this. I'm sure Biden's memory is better." LOL!

• When asked what he thinks about President Trump, Putin said that Trump is an "extraordinary, talented, and colorful individual who came from OUTSIDE the 'Establishment.'"

• The reporter threw a bunch of 'cyber attack' accusations at Putin that have occurred in the USA, including the ransomware hack on the gas pipeline, cyber attacks on a meat processing plant, COVID research data from somewhere, and the SolarWinds cyber attack. Putin denied them flat out. Putin kept asking, "Where is the evidence of this? What proof do you have? You are just making accusations. I can't defend my position when you aren't presenting any evidence. What are these accusations based on?" The reporter's pathetic response was that one of the hacker guys arrested "speaks Russian" - THAT's the big 'smoking gun' - LOL!

• Putin also said that the ransom was paid to the cyber gangsters for the pipeline hack, and that if the perpetrators are ever caught, you'll find out that Russia had nothing to do with it. Putin said, "Russia is blamed all the time for cyber attacks that they didn't do. Next it will be a cyber attack on Easter eggs. It's becoming farcical!"

• Putin said that he is AGAINST militarizing space and militarizing the internet and that he doesn't want cyber warfare. He said that he has reached out repeatedly in several U.S. administrations (Obama, Trump, Biden) since 2016 to have discussions about cyber warfare and to develop policies together and make agreements about such activities, but nobody (on America's side) has been interested in doing that. Putin said, "NATO deems cyber space as a 'combat zone.' I see that as a threat and that they're planning something. That does worry me." He also said that Russia has seen a 3-fold increase in cyber attacks and that the problem is very alarming.

• The reporter accused Putin of "interfering with the 2016 AND 2020 U.S. election" (he just HAAAAAAD to resurrect the "Russia collusion" hoax shit again, of course). Putin said that he believes in each country's sovereignty to not interfere with their elections - unlike the Americans, who interfere in other countries' elections all the time.

• He was asked what he thought about Black Lives Matter and Putin said, "I'm surprised Russia hasn't been accused of that too!" LOL! He said that he "supports equal rights for black people but no form of extremists. I don't approve or welcome extremists." He added that "one of America's political parties used BLM as a tool." Putin totally calls a spade a spade.

• Putin was asked, "Why are you so threatened by opposition?" Putin said he's not and that 32 of 44 political parties participate in Russia's elections. He said, "There are political activists in Russian jails - some who are foreign trained and sponsored." Regarding prisoner Alexey Navalny, he was sentenced to 15 years for embezzling donations from his non-profit org (not simply because he's a political opponent).

• The reporter came right out and accused Putin of arresting and assassinating political opponents. Putin verbally smacked him with, "Oh, like your country did on Jan. 6th? Are you claiming that political opponent young lady wasn't assassinated at the U.S. Capitol? What do you call that? Those protesters were there to contest the election because they thought it wasn't legitimate. And 450 of them are still in jail. For what? For just walking into the Capitol - a trespassing charge. They didn't go there to rob. So don't blame the mirror if you're ugly."

• The reporter repeatedly interrupted and cut off Putin when responding to questions. Putin said, "You don't like my answer so you keep interrupting me. You don't want your audience to hear my answer."

• Putin was asked about an American soldier named Trevor Reed who's in a Russian jail "for having a few too many drinks and getting into a bar fight" and the reporter demanded that Putin assure Americans that this man "will leave that jail alive." Putin corrected him, describing the situation in more detail (right off the top of his head with no notes) saying, "This guy is a drunk and a trouble-maker. The man was shit-faced, started an altercation and hit a police officer. In your country, he would already be dead." Putin added that the miniscule quantity (like 2) of Americans who are in Russian jails doesn't even compare to the number of Russians detained in American jails (something like 400-500). But he said that he would be open to discussing prisoner swaps and that he would even like to develop an extradition agreement with the USA.

Oh, for sure I'm watching now - This is the absolute best kind of Putin interview bc he ALWAYS owns them.

Great post - Thanks for pointing out the highlights,.

My pleasure, fren! I agree, it's much more fun watching Putin (and Trump) making fools out of the Fake News media than exchanges where there's no fireworks. And this NBC interview was 1.5 hours full of Putin swinging his big schlong around and peeing on every tree marking his turf. =-D

What else was funny in this interview was the fake journo guy whining about having to quarantine for 2 weeks just to be allowed in the same room with Putin.

Would love to hear your impressions of this interview if you do get a chance to watch it. Since getting a 'Trump fix' is so much harder since he left office and all we get are periodic rallies for the most part, I fill in the gaps sometimes with Putin speeches/interviews to give me a dose of "Alpha Male" heroes to watch. =-)
