The takeover sounds all good and dandy on the surface, but the chance of Twitter seeing a day where it is actually a platform for free speech is slim to none, they have six months to wipe that place out, set up a replacement the MSM will drone people to, and twitter will be like Myspace is now once Musk actually gets ahold of it. Alive, but irrelevant.

Yes - that six months allows them to maintain control of the narrative until the 2022 election. Convenient.

The following refers to the clip of Trump's interview with Morgan on Stone's page. Trump is indeed authentic. He's very good at controlling his anger when he speaks, but watch at 1:16 - My word, the contempt and derision he has for these "people" is palpable when he says "fake stuff" - and he's completely right.

Incidentally, the original NeverTrumper and person orchestrating the major attacks against Trump, PO, also rules our elections (yet that FACT has seemingly escaped most of the public voices discussing election reform.)

can you imagine the contempt you would have if you were in his shoes with blatant lies being peddled through bullhorns every single day. Do you think you could control your anger in a situation where you are blatantly being agitated with those same lies right to your face. When you know it's a lie, and they know it's a lie but they persist. And you know that they damned well know it is lies.

Most people would be seething and most likely become violent

Absolutely - Trump's shown an amazing amount of restraint. I hope I didn't suggest otherwise by my comment. The way he's been incessantly attacked by these people is inexcusable.
