Friends, we are beginning to see a division, a line in the sand if you will. Most of you have probably noticed the same. The information war is getting heated, and shills are surfacing. Many things lately seem rushed, haphazard even. We are in the stage of discernment, separating the wheat from the chaff. Yes, I understand I have said this before, but it's more prevalent as time passes on.

You must shake loose from your comfort level and question your most trusted sources. As anons, we smell shit long before most. If your trusted source starts to stink, speak out, ask the question. We collectively will assist. Also I do not only speak of sources, but accounts here pushing those sources. Reality is fucked, deal with it like adults.

The thing is, it's not just the poster getting pummeled, it's that other readers see all the comments bashing the post and likely just disregard the whole content since it's been attacked and/or down-voted by others. It's really disturbing and disheartening. Know what I mean?

Absolutely - and what you are saying about "disregarding" is spot on - I've been criticized for saying the same thing, and it is NOT about the points, it is about the PERCEPTION that down-votes, esp. of a new post, create that the post is not worth reading.

Exactly. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this. It helps to hear that I'm not "over-reacting" or mis-reading things. It's good to have a trusted voice (that would be you!) kindly offering your impressions of this sitch as well. If only we had a way to remedy it. :-S

I know the moderators are doing their best to spot/remove the bad folks who have infiltrated this board. There must just be such a mass increase lately that it's too difficult to sift through. What's mega bizarre is there's one acct on here in particular (QisAFraud) who seems to just follow me around and shit on my posts (or maybe this person does it to everyone). I even went to that person's account and BLOCKED them and yet they are STILL able to post on my threads. Seems like there may even be a technical issue where the "Block User" function on here doesn't work. :-(

Yes, I'm not sure how that blocking works bc you can still see the comments, they simply appear lighter.

Thanks for letting me know that. I see their comments as being kinda grey/lighter, but I guess that's just when I'm viewing them - not sure how it looks to other readers when they view a thread. I thought "blocking" a user meant they can no longer engage with you - but apparently that's not the case on this board.

"Block user" here just means they still get to downvote you and shit all over your posts and deter others from reading them, but in a shaded area within the post. So it looks like the "block user" feature isn't too helpful, huh? LOL!
