Well, for all his talk, he did absolutely nothing for our water rights, so there’s that. I do respect his beginnings here in the valley, but that respect may be misplaced. Just like the Paul family; say the right things, get nothing accomplished.

It's a big deal in CA. Some places even prohibit collecting rain on your property. Mostly it's a battle between irrigating crops, making sure the rivers don't run dry and all the golf courses get watered.

A lot of the valley water that should go to farmers gets diverted to Southern California (read LA county), and out to the ocean so we can save a salamander or two.
