Yep bit of back story to Kimdotcom, the FBI/ US Govt tried to shut him down and make an example of him for operating his streaming service allowing free downloads of movies etc (around the time assange began to start taking heat, and the Hillary DNC bs) and concocted a series of put up allegations about his online hosting service resulting in armed NZ goofball zog bots raiding his NZ Lifestyle 'mansion' at the orders of the FBI, confiscating all his and his co-business partners luxury cars, streaming equipment and seizing bank accounts (proceeds of crime) - while deploying helicopters and had a camera man that caught all the 'non action' (that got played on the nightly news for several days running). During the early morning raid while everyone was in bed - they Cops hopped over the front gate and used bolt cutters on the lock after handcuffing the security guard (rather than just have him unlock the gate to drive in). Then swarmed the house with the helicopter flying over head - detained his personal body guard, wife and three young children at gun point but couldn't find him - for over 45 mins - they had no idea - even after having the house under surveillance for several days - he had simply popped into the safe room, behind a hidden door in the ground floor closet/ coat room. He was sitting up in a big massive 2nd floor room watching them on multiple surveillance video/audio cameras - had a connected laptop up there but purposely did not delete anything - as he said later 'why, i hadn't done anything illegal, so there was no need to delete anything and potentially have that used against me. He decided 'meh' and came down and they arrested him and took him away until he was bailed ( don't recall exactly but the Feds wanted absolutely no bail) on some ridiculous bail amount $1 millions or something. He also fought extradition to USA to face the bs charges and finally the Govt watchdog Commissioner had to get involved and eventually declared the entire raid illegal (bc it was based on US copyright law and was outside their jurisdiction or something something) and the extradition was also declared null and void bc of that. The whole thing ended up a farce for the US and NZ Govt.
