Hopefully Musk retweeted the DOJ and SEC have launched what he described as a "joint investigation" into a myriad of Musk regulatory issues primarily involving Tesla. I called this one last year. Pay attention. Musk will quietly get out of cars now that he's moved his space campus to TX.

Musk has been outrunning and dodging this for years. In 2021 NHTSB became more aggressive since Musk has ignored the citations for years. But he can't run from this forever. Given that he's a spin master and a liar, I doubt seriously his twitter talk has anything to do with free speech given that he has much larger problems. And while it is normal for a corp to deal with lawsuits, these wrongful death suits poise a real threat to his mars and cars bullshit. The NHTSB opened 30 probes into the autopilot malfunctions and deaths last year.
