On the other hand, is there a point where we can say this is safe and the benefits are worth the risk? I don't feel we are there now. It doesn't help that I give zero credibility to "the science" after this covid BS.

I'm an avid hiker/backpacker, I would love to not have to worry about lyme disease.

Completely agree. And shouldn't we answer the risk-benefit question beforehand?
