All you have to do to understand democrat party politics is watch "The Sopranos". The democrats aren't a political party so much as an ongoing criminal conspiracy. If democrats are allowing a democrat to get arrested, it means one of two things: a) There is a large amount of money involved and he failed to kick upstairs sufficiently, and/or grease the right palms b) Somebody else is throwing elbows to slide into his position and they need him out of the way.
