This has been my guess since summer 2020 when I realized that this was a hoax. Scare the public with a flu strain and then unleash something deadly. There is a scientist name Mitnick I believe who claims to have bio engineered ebola to infect human cells. The purpose of her interview was to out Fauci but the ebola part stood out to me.

If you believe for a second that this is a possibility then I encourage you to look into how to prepare and respond to ebola because hand sanitizer won't protect you and your family. Well, let's be honest, hand sanitizer is bullshit but you know what I am saying.
