I don't think they were expecting things to get this bad, like how they did not expect trump to win. They are completely disconnected. I think the biggest clown world joke is "the elites" because they are anything but. they are merely spoiled rich cooomers who got their positions due to nepotism and not merit.
The problem is that clown world ends, chaos world begins. the good news is chaos world will only be six weeks to six months. The bad news is it will be merciless.
