The important aspect of this article is that the DoS is leading the DoD - the same folks in the DoS who "lead" in the "exit" of Afghanistan. No leadership at all. The DoS created the environment that "enabled" the current situation - and NATO essentially wants the war in Ukraine to continue. A great opportunity to sell more weapons.
