This...dude, this is a Chinese disinformation talking point. It isn't true at all and the earliest sources we can find (from the FBI's research) is that this particular talking point came from Chinese disinformation farms to discredit US-backed vaccines in a bid to de-power/harm US interests while propping up their own vaccines (this is not a joke at all - that's where this particular point came from).
Here is the development timeline of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.
On March 17, 2020, pharmaceutical companies Pfizer Inc. and BioNTech SE, based in Germany, announced they would tackle development of a COVID-19 vaccine.
Then, in April, Pfizer, which is based in New York and has a production facility in Portage, Michigan, announced a plan to scale-up its manufacturing capacity, so the company would be ready to supply millions of doses of a COVID-19 vaccine by the end of 2020, if they were able to successfully develop one. The 1,300-acre facility in Portage is the largest manufacturing plant in Pfizer's network.
April 22: Pfizer and BioNTech announce the first clinical trial of its vaccine candidate in Germany.
April 29: Testing of four vaccine candidates begins with volunteers in Germany
May 5: The first doses are administered for a vaccine trial in the United States.
July 1: Pfizer reveals the first positive data results.
July 13: U.S. Food and Drug Administration grants fast-track designation for two potential COVID-19 vaccines from Pfizer-BioNTech partnership.
July 22: The U.S. government agrees to buy 100 million Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine doses for $1.95 billion, with an option for 500 million more.
Sept. 8: CEOs of Pfizer, BioNTech and seven other major drugmakers pledge to stand with the science and not be rushed to create a vaccine.
November was the month that changed everything. On Nov. 9, 2020, Pfizer delivered the bombshell announcement: The vaccine candidate had an efficacy rate of more than 90%.
Nov. 18: Nine days after the first efficacy announcement, Pfizer offers specifics. An analysis of the vaccine shows an efficacy rate of 95%, much higher than many experts predicted would be possible.
Nov. 20, 2020: Pfizer submits an emergency use authorization request with the Food and Drug Administration. The first authorization of Pfizer's COVID vaccine came in Europe. The United Kingdom grants authorization Dec. 2, 2020.
Dec. 10, 2020: The United States follows suit, with an FDA advisory committee granting emergency use authorization for the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.
Dec. 13, 2020: The first vaccine filled trucks roll out of Pfizer's Portage, Michigan, plant delivering doses across the country.
Dec. 14, 2020: Front-line health care workers start receiving the vaccine in the United States.
Steer clear of most of those small-time, tinfoil hate websites. Often, they are fueled with anti-US disinformation and have insidious folks pushing disinformation through them (often from China). While they sometimes have amazing bombshell information to share, they are not always right.
There are GREAT quality "not mainstream media" news sources like RedState, Blaze (but Blaze has been caught twisting the truth multiple times) and I THINK (don't quote me on it) Epoch Times. They hold higher standards for journalism and they do better at fact checking before posting data.
