Yes the oil business pays well. Hours can be long and it can be dangerous depending on the job.
That's because it's super dangerous.
How much meth can you buy with that kind of money?
“there’s jobs everywhere” Looks into job it’s a swing shift, dangerous work, need 10 years experience but pays 45k a year.
Earn 80k the first year by only working 6 months? I know you bust your ass pretty hard but that's not too bad. I heard something similar about North Dakota back in 2013 & they had an economic boom there - McDonald's starting wage jumped to $15/hr there & that's kinda what kicked off the 'Fight For 15' campaign. But then a few years later I read stories online about how bad drugs, prostitution & the bar scenes became, because there wasn't anything that else to do in bumfuck N. Dakota.
I saw a video once of them doing some crazy shit with a chain and heavy machinery. I would rather work in a metal sawmill.
How many fingers will they have left when they are fired for on the job neglect causing a workplace accident? (At least what the employer says so they don't have to pay out compensation)
for starters it's oklahoma, fuck that place. It's incredibly dangerous, isolated, and dirty. And you usually work 2 weeks straight, with a one week break after. Every ruffneck I knew got burned out after a year
