WiMAX is the same frequency range as 5G and it broadcasts at much higher power. Tell me why you think it is different, other than the data and protocols it carries.
WiMax is a standard that runs over whatever existing tech is in place. It was used to optimize 4G and now 5G. It wasn't alway 5G is my point.
