There is video of Russia stalking it from the air with a drone. They then called in an airstrike. It was tracked because it was observed launching rockets, driving, and then parking immediately next to the mall. Very doubtful it had anything to do with this guy's social media content.

It was a message to the population they constantly abuse. "Stop exposing us using civilian locations as shields."
