Another possibility is a Vax-ident. A Vaxed Death of the pilot at the controls.
It's possible the pilot could have suffered a heart attack or some other medical emergency and slumped onto the control column, lowering the nose. <<<could be another vaxident. I have read statements by pilots who say, even if the co-pilot is right there, next to the pilot who suddenly slumps over the controls and has a heart attack, in some cases it would be impossible for the co-pilot to recover. Although I think they said that in reference to a pilot about to land a plane and slumps over the controls when plane is close to the ground....so not enough altitude for correction.
In this china plane case, it says that at one point there was an attempt to stop the steep dive, but then it resumed its steep dive again. Maybe co-pilot had a heart attack too, as he struggled to over come the actions of a now dead pilot pushing on the controls???

This is a BS story. They are in Australia for another reason IMO. We have an entire 7th fleet in that area of the world. Plenty of firepower to repel anyone.
