If it wasn't for drug commercials on TV, there would be no commercials.

You know it was Ronald Reagan who changed the law to allow drug companies to advertise their drugs on tv. Before he did that they were not allowed to advertise their drugs on TV because it was considered to be unethical to try to encourage people to take drugs that their doctor had not initially thought they should have.
