That's exactly why I got rid of my smartphone and got a Sunbeam F1.
Whatever that is, it probably tracks you too.
It's an old-style flip phone designed by Mennonites. No data is sent to Google or Apple. The only tracking happening is tower-triangulation that carriers can do, but that's unavoidable for any cell phone, and can be avoided by creative use of sim cards.

If you watch the video, the guy had a phone WITHOUT A SIM CARD AND IN AIRPLANE MODE, and it still tracked him all day. It sent the data to google as soon as he allowed it to connect to Wifi.

I seriously doubt "they" allow any consumer phones to be sold that don't track the user. Your car also connects to cell towers and reports your location and more.
