I was surprised that they were honest with me but the director who hired me was livid that she was being pushed around by the people higher up. She wanted me to know that I was more than qualified and actually recommended me to a couple of other libraries in the state, but at that point I was so fed up with Connecticut and other things I was dealing with there, I applied for jobs out of the state and moved.

No one goes to CT because they want to be there.

One of the worst states I've lived in. Nothing tops Pennsylvania, though.

I've had the fortune of never having to step in either of those states.
