If asked this in an interview, begin by starting a socratic discussion they will paint themselves into a racist corner, point out their racism, and end the interview. Interviews are not for you to impress the company they are to see if you can stand to work at the company. Never forget this. Also never forget that HR recruiters are sales people paid on commission, and HR in generalists' job is to keep the company out of court relating to employment issues. They are not ever on your side. NEVER. (and as a general rule I stay away from words like always and never but in this case, yeah never trust HR)
