What I want is way too radical for any politician to run on. So I’ll never have a candidate that would truly represent my interests, but some candidates are better than others. The election system is broken anyway, but this is still a great thought exercise and potentially useful in at least reducing the harm that these faggots do to our country.
In addition to sticking up for candidates who at least seem to represent most of our interests, we need to also hold them accountable. No excuse making. Results only. Look at Trump.
Made so many promises that he came so far from fulfilling and instead of holding him accountable to that, I saw his supporters make an endless string of nonsensical excuses, they even went so far as to openly claim he was “impotent” to do anything about all of these issues he failed on because “everyone was against him.”
I care about results. If you’re gonna talk the big shit, you better be prepared to do whatever it takes to get it done or there’s absolutely no reason, none, none whatsoever, to continue to support that person.
It’s funny, so many of his voters loved the “sometimes you gotta convince them, Joe” line from the debate but failed to realize that that’s exactly where he failed.
At one point he had a very high popularity number among his own voters and the majority and still couldn’t get anything done of any substance.
Then I watched his own voters make excuses for why children ended up in masks, quarantines and lockdowns - happened under his watch, while he was in the big chair - why it was perfectly fine for governors to use billions of dollars in taxpayer money to keep people in their homes, close their businesses, mask their children, and then deny to my face that they would not have been fine with this if it happened under Obama or Bush or Clinton.
They would not have made excuses for those guys. But they made excuses for Trump. Talking about how he had no power over it, it was outside of his control, etc. He didn’t even resist. In fact he bragged about caring more about COVID-19 than Democrats did.
And their solution is to put him back in office! Can you even imagine that? Vote for that guy again! The captain who is at the wheel when our country hit its biggest iceberg in history, the greatest seizing of our rights and liberties happened while he was president. Not anyone else. Trump just passively watched the Democrats destroyed our nation.
If governors were committing a crime, an active crime, like let’s say they were nuking their own citizens with weapons of mass destruction, would it be OK for the president to just sit there and watch and mumble something about states rights?
Or would there be boots on the ground immediately to arrest those governors who were deploying nukes against their own citizens?
So why is it OK for governors to break the law, strip their own people of their constitutional rights, lock them in their homes, close their businesses, close their churches, arrest them for walking around without masks, and it’s perfectly fine for the president to sit there and watch that happen?
So it would be OK to move against those governors if the crimes were “bad enough”, perfectly fine to sit there and watch them destroy a generation of children and economically savage adults and strip them of their rights?
Not one Trump supporter who is OK with what happened can explain why it would be fine to arrest a governor who is trying to nuke his own people, to send in troops, to throw that son of a bitch in a cell, but it’s perfectly fine not to do anything when “all“ they are doing is destroying the constitution? It shows, yet again, his blind supporters care more about him than they do about the constitution.
If Governor Whitmer was going to detonate Detroit, Flint, and a bunch of suburbs, and announced it before hand, and warned everyone it was coming, there would be outrage if there weren’t troops sent in to stop her. Outrage.
No one would care about legality, precedent, jurisdiction, protocol, even if you had to do something unconstitutional to stop her, you would do it.
So why was it OK for them to use billions in federal and state funding to destroy their lives more slowly? That big shit talking motherfucker didn’t drain the swamp, didn’t finish the wall, told his followers to gather on January 6 because “it’s going to be wild“ and then hung them up to dry didn’t even bother to pardon them on his way out the door. He and his proxies said there was going to be a revelation of proof of election fraud, and other things, and that bastard was golfing during one of the rallies, then showed up and gave us absolutely nothing but more rhetoric, and then vanished with his tail between his legs while his own people were getting lured into a trap and thrown away into a cell. He could’ve pardoned them. He didn’t. Everyone’s angry about what’s happening to those people and they’re blaming Democrats, and maybe rightfully so, but they’ve never once mentioned why it was OK for Trump not to pardon them. I mean his own voters are so fucking angry that those people are still locked up… and ignoring that HE could have fixed it.
Someone made the argument to me that they weren’t officially charged with anything to be pardoned from at the time he left office, and if so, then I concede the point. But he just sat there and watched. He’s passive. Everyone thinks he’s this big ball buster, but only in words. He’s passive and just sits there and watches. He didn’t do anything, and still hasn’t done anything, to fight for those people who he lured into a trap. Him. He did. “It’s going to be wild“ and then did nothing.
And the solution is to vote for him again in 2024? Really? Everyone to vote for him is going to deserve everything that yet. I have no sympathy for them. None.
They literally had to invent a conspiracy theory, an entire catalog of conspiracy theories, to explain his monumental failures is being part of some secret strategy. And here we are all these years later and not one of these secret strategies has paid any dividends with arrests or justice or any of the things those very conspiracy theories promised. They keep kicking the can down the road on when all of this stuff is finally going to happen. It’s going to be 10 years, 15 years and they’re still going to insist, angrily, that it’s coming any day now. “You’ll see. Just watch. It’s coming! Trust us! Everything‘s already going on behind the scenes!”, and the rest of us are just too stupid to see it.
This isn't pretty, but it's largely true. For those who say we're watching a movie - maybe we are. But our lives aren't movies - our lives are real. The person who lost their income bc they refused the jab is real. The person who died from jab-related injuries is real. The increasingly high cost of goods and services is real. The illegal immigrants who have no respect for our Constitution are real. The people who have massively increased their net worth by unleashing a plandemic are real. The divisions between friends and family are real. Centralizing our lives into a world identity system is real Our "representatives" putting themselves first and us last is real. We The People being excluded from whatever the heck is going on, other than than to be harmed by it, is real. The probability of a promising revelation appearing when TPTB see us getting restless is real. The derision I will face for writing this is real, but for those who deride me, let me ask: Would any of the people asking us to blindly believe them show us the same blind belief? NO. And that is REAL. This is OUR country - Yet we are being blocked from claiming it. Who is listening to us? No one. NO ONE. I challenge anyone here to contact ANY of these people and see if they give a flying fuck what you have to say. Go ahead - do it - and get back to us when you hear .something. You won't because they won't.
How much are we willing to lose before we rise against this tyranny? Every day that we wait is a day more that they have to lock us into an inescapable system. How many here will willingly accept digital identification if done "safely" under Trump? Make no mistake - The same system under a different name is still the same system and will lock your children and grandchildren into slavery every bit as much. We can HOPE that there's a plan, but we have to ACT like there's not.
Thank you for recognizing that there may be value in this exercise. I'm sick of seeing these candidates pander the same old crap - They need to get on the ball and so do we. We need to TELL these people what we want - and if they are not willing to to do what we want, they are not fit to REPRESENT us. Period.
