Thank you for sharing this article! Major find!!! Triggered me to dig on this a bit more and get to the real sauce validating the claim. It's most definitely true - see below.

Here's some more info, including links to The Blaze article and Congressional 3/11/21 bill with the specific budget line item allocating $1 BILLION for "funding of COVID vaccine confidence activities" (a.k.a. 'the sauce'), plus some key excerpts from the OP's article posted...

https://www.theblaze.com/news/review-the-federal-government-paid-media-companies-to-advertise-for-the-vaccines

Per FOIA request documents received, the federal government (HHS - Health & Human Services) paid $1 BILLION to hundreds of media companies to advertise the COVID-19 vaccines while those same outlets provided positive coverage of the vaccines during fiscal year 2021

Congress appropriated $1 BILLION in fiscal year 2021 for the Secretary of Health to spend on activities to "strengthen vaccine confidence in the United States" and "improve vaccination rates."

U.S. Congress 3/11/2021 appropriation bill entitled "The American Rescue Plan of 2021" - see "Title II--Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions, Subtitle D--Public Health", Sec. 2302 :

https://www.congress.gov/bill/117th-congress/house-bill/1319/text (Sec. 2302 starts on page 135)

TITLE II--COMMITTEE ON HEALTH, EDUCATION, LABOR, AND PENSIONS

Subtitle D--Public Health

Sec. 2302. Funding for vaccine confidence activities.

Text from Congressional allocation bill re: Sec. 2302 - [[Page 135 STAT. 39]]

SEC. 2302. FUNDING FOR VACCINE CONFIDENCE ACTIVITIES.

In addition to amounts otherwise available, there is appropriated to the Secretary for fiscal year 2021, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, $1,000,000,000, to remain available until expended, to carry out activities, acting through the Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention--

(1) to strengthen vaccine confidence in the United States, including its territories and possessions;

(2) to provide further information and education with respect to vaccines licensed under section 351 of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 262) or authorized under section 564 of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (21 U.S.C. 360bbb-3); and

(3) to improve rates of vaccination throughout the United States, including its territories and possessions, including through activities described in section 313 of the Public Health Service Act, as amended by section 311 of division BB of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021 (Public Law 116-260).

Article: https://emeralddb3.substack.com/p/fox-news-and-newsmax-took-biden-money?s=r

EXCERPT: In response to a FOIA request filed by TheBlaze, HHS revealed that it purchased advertising from major news networks including ABC, CBS, and NBC, as well as cable TV news stations Fox News, CNN, and MSNBC, legacy media publications including the New York Post, the Los Angeles Times, and the Washington Post, digital media companies like BuzzFeed News and Newsmax, and hundreds of local newspapers and TV stations. These outlets were collectively responsible for publishing countless articles and video segments regarding the vaccine that were nearly uniformly positive about the vaccine in terms of both its efficacy and safety.

This is the largest and most comprehensive breach of journalistic ethics that has ever occurred. Almost everybody took the money. Almost everybody lied about the vaccines (knowingly or unknowingly). Almost everybody refused to report anything negative about the vaccines — because they were paid to close their eyes. Almost everybody is implicated.

The Biden administration purchased ads on TV, radio, in print, and on social media to build vaccine confidence, timing this effort with the increasing availability of the vaccines. The government also relied on earned media featuring "influencers" from "communities hit hard by COVID-19" and "experts" like White House chief medical adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci and other academics to be interviewed and promote vaccination in the news.

Though virtually all of these newsrooms produced stories covering the COVID-19 vaccines, the taxpayer dollars flowing to their companies were not disclosed to audiences in news reports, since common practice dictates that editorial teams operate independently of media advertising departments and news teams felt no need to make the disclosure, as some publications reached for comment explained.

The Biden administration engaged in a massive campaign to educate the public and promote vaccination as the best way to prevent serious illness or death from COVID-19.

RedPillQ Great job on that! Thank you.

My pleasure. Tag-teaming is fun. :-) Whenever I send out 'biggies' making such bold claims to my still-asleep friends, I try and send them straight to the exact sentence(s) in a source document that's preferably on a .gov website to stop them dead in their tracks before they even think to say, "Oh, that source (The Blaze, Breitbart, NY Post, etc.) is just propaganda."

Even FOIA-generated documents get rejected/discounted by libbies since they typically come from "right wing" (in their minds) Judicial Watch or Project Veritas whistleblowers. So throwing a Congressional budget bill (from a .gov link) in their faces with the bill section and exact wording with the page number should shut 'em right up - LOL!

Lol I've come across the same problem, trying to red pill normies is not easy. It is easier to convince some of a lie than to convince someone they have been lied to.

"vaccine confidence" is on par with "election confidence."

Great info!

No doubt! "2020 was the most secure election in history" - yeah, riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight! ;-)

"2020 was the most secure election in history" - yeah, riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight! ;-)

When you look at all the gov agencies, offices, NGO, and key people involved in our election system, not ONE of them - NOT ONE - voiced concerns that there was anything wrong with the election. Like I said, it sounds like a "stupid" observation, but when you think about it, that is profound.

I have a code I live by ... if the government and/or the media say it's good, it confirms that just the opposite holds true. I'm happy and proud as hell to be part of the resistance.

Agree I've always said that, just look who pushes that crap the fake news.

When every third commercial is for some drug, big pharma has a lot of control.
