It seems kind of fishy that it says the hacker(s) came from Russia/Moscow.

Am I supposed to report these because I believe Russia is pulling a cyberattack against all of us?

Or should I think more logically that Microsoft is getting in on the fear porn being generated over Russia?

Ummm.... I'll pick door number 2, Alex.

EDIT: If I chose to report it, I would be telling them I fall for this sort of shit, and that I now have irrefutable evidence that Russia is on a cyberattack that I will hopefully share with everyone.

It says browser is Firefox. Firefox is completely compromised.

I don't use Firefox. I think that's what they were supposedly using.

Smart.

I've never received emails like this claiming to be from MS, but I have received from calls from people impersonating MS, claiming my computer has been infected, and I need to call them to get it "fixed." Right.

I don't even use Windows any more, so they would have to hack MS to get into my email, unless it was a phishing expedition and I was stupid enough to fall for it.
