As a result of Putin’s ongoing assault on Ukraine,

and the leaders of the European Commission, France, Germany, Italy, the UK, and Canada decided to take specific measures to further isolate Russia from the international financial system.

"First, we commit to ensuring that selected Russian banks are removed from the SWIFT messaging system. This will ensure that these banks are disconnected from the international financial system and harm their ability to operate globally.

Justintolerable, I was thinking the exact same thing, it is a declaration of war by attacking Russia's banking system. Its okay for them/DS to justify NATO encroaching closer to Russian borders over the decades then overthrow the duly elected President of Ukraine in 2014 then not allow Crimeans to vote in that election to rigg the election towards getting a pro West puppet in office. Now this, no wonder President Putin is pissed and now is doing something to fight back. Putin has been very patient all these years and I can't blame him for his incursion into Ukraine to as he said, DENAZIFY that country.

Putin is totally anti-socialism and will eliminate the Ukraine NAZI/Facist threat. It is Putin that presided for many years in the full reversal from socialism and a restoration of capitalism for the Russian Federation. The West has been poking the Russian Bear way too long. If our legitimate President Trump was in charge nothing like this would have happened with Putin.
