As a result of Putin’s ongoing assault on Ukraine,

and the leaders of the European Commission, France, Germany, Italy, the UK, and Canada decided to take specific measures to further isolate Russia from the international financial system.

Removing Russian banks from SWIFT is not about punishing Russia. It is about ending the petrodollar as the global reserve currency. The SWIFT system is a big part of how the dollar functions as the reserve currency.

Russia and China will go and make (have already made) their own SWIFT like system and then will tell Europe that if they ever want to buy any of that sweet sweet Nordstream gas again, they have to pay through the new Russian/China system

...And just like that the US dollar as the global reserve currency is over.

and does this narrative fit with one world economy? Russia is a hold out . they haven't sold out completely yet and Putin is strengthening Russia putting Russia First. sound failure?

Weren't Syria, Libya and Egypt also hold outs to the globalist central banking system? Which seems to be why the Obama admin sent in the MB to overthrow Mubarak.. And they took out Gaddafi...?
