Hey some of you know me, but if not, i have been a part of the voat/poal community for 6 years and enjoy this particular community the most.

recently, i have not been able to login and i wondered if others were having issues. my credentials are the same and have never changed and i only use 1 of 4 terminals to access the website. the captcha is not an issue. it literally is saying invalid username/password.

i had to create another username to post on the board but lost all of my hard earned points and am now a grey nobody on the board. sucks.

i have reached out to justin_tolerable for assistance and am still waiting to hear from board mods to see what happened to to my login credentials. i tried using the same credentials for a new account, but it said the username was already in use.

my original username is darkknightpatriot. been on here and voat for a long long time, and would like to use my real account.

any advice?

Did you enter an email when you created the original account?

If not, it could be a problem.

It was an IP issue. Apparently trolls were using an IP similar to mine? I think? Anyways, I was able to log in this evening.

Yeah. I was WAY more active on VOAT. After the election steal, my energy just hit rock bottom. I read voraciously, and read headlines etc looking for good stuff, but I spent more time watching videos and doing research on devolution, etc, than posting my usual on POAL.

I had this problem a week or so ago. It was suggested that I might have tried to log in too many times in a particular time period. The problem resolved itself, but I'm still not sure what happened. I hope you get it resolved soon.
